The Healthy Forest Partnership was initiated in 2014 and is in its second four-year phase of research. We are dedicated to keeping our forest green and healthy by protecting it from spruce budworm.
We are conducting research that will help us better understand rising spruce budworm populations. At the same time, our research is focused on finding an early intervention strategy that will keep spruce budworm at low levels.
We are a group of research, academic, government, and industry professionals working together to understand how and when an outbreak starts, and how we could prevent a major outbreak from happening.
