Biography

Responsibility on EIS project: Rob is a co-lead on two components of the EIS relating to (1) efficacy testing and non-target impacts of insecticide treatments, and (2) the Budworm Tracker community science program. Rob is also one of the lead spokespeople for the program and has given numerous public talks and media interviews.

What is Spruce Budworm?

Spruce budworm is a native insect that is considered by many as the most serious pest affecting the forests of eastern Canada. Every 30-40 years populations of spruce budworm increase resulting in an outbreak or epidemic.
